#1 Women ejaculate. True! People assume only men ejaculate, however, women are able to ejaculate as well. Usually, when women ejaculate, their partner wasn’t expecting it, and it can be embarrassing for some women.

#2 Female ejaculation is pee. False! Many people thinking that female ejaculation is pee, but it’s not. Squirting is actually not pee. Sorry to burst your bubble. #3 Do you have to pee after sex? Yes! Well, you don’t HAVE to pee after sex, so don’t worry, your vagina won’t blow up. However, it’s better if you do. Actually, your body is automatically wanting the act of peeing after sex.

Not every penis is a match for your vagina *you can take that positively or negatively*, and it’s perfectly normal. Don’t think that if the sex wasn’t great, it’s your fault or your partner’s fault. #5 Women don’t always get wet. True! Let me rephrase this, women don’t have to get super wet in order to be horny. This means you’ll need some extra lubrication at times. Natural lubrication can be affected by your menstrual cycle, your age, or if you’re stressed out. So, just because you’re not super wet doesn’t mean you won’t be able to have sex.

#6 The mysterious g-spot. It exists! Yes, I know, you probably think it didn’t exist, but it does. You just haven’t found it yet. The g-spot isn’t actually a spot, it can be a pretty large area. #7 All vaginas look the same. False! All those porn videos you’ve seen probably show the women typically having this “standard quo” vagina. Well, all women do not have the same vagina. Some have larger lips or a smaller clitoris than others.

I was actually surprised when I found this out. I thought my vagina was just your typical vagina, but who knows what a normal vagina looks like anyway. It’s a mystery.

#8 Loose vagina indicates she’s sleeping around. False! First of all, who care if she likes to have sex with multiple men, that doesn’t make her anything. She just likes sex. Like I said in #7, all vaginas are different. Just because she’s looser than your last partner, it doesn’t signify anything. All. Vaginas. Are. Different. #9 Vaginas are a self-cleaning oven. True! The vagina is pretty cool, sorry fellas. The vagina produces daily fluid which helps get rid of dead cells and harmful bacteria. So, if you’re douching, there’s no need. You’re actually just removing the good bacteria and protective fluids.

#10 Women don’t discharge during the day. False! At the end of the day, my underwear looks like someone blew their nose in it. Sorry for the imagery, but it’s true. The vagina is constantly secreting discharge which helps keep the vagina clean and healthy. However, there are times when the discharge changes color, which can indicate health issues.

#11 It’s not normal to fall asleep post-sex. False! You just spent 45 minutes having sex, I’m surprised if you still have the energy to stay awake after that. It’s completely normal for women and men to fall asleep after sex.

#12 You can only come via penal intercourse. False! Actually, most women do not come with penal intercourse. In fact, women can orgasm through different ways other than intercourse. Some women orgasm through nipple stimulation, while others orgasm through clitoral stimulation. But, this will take time to figure out.

#13 The vagina doesn’t smell. False! Actually, vaginal scent is a great way to monitor its health. When it smells a little fishy, you may have a bacterial infection. The vagina is an area that is susceptible to bacteria, sweating and pH imbalances which all produce their own set of smells. So, to make sure everything is going well down there, give it a smell.
